Blackened Seasoning for Chicken, Fish or Beef

- 1 part onion powder
- 1 part garlic powder
- 1 part salt
- 2 parts paprika
- ½ part ground white pepper
- ¼ part cayenne pepper
- ½ part dried thyme
- ½ part ground black pepper
- ½ part dried basil
- ½ part dried oregano
Mix all ingredients. Dredge the items to be blackened in oil or butter, and then in the
blackening seasoning. Place in a very hot pan. Cooks quickly, so keep an eye out!
